About

Fisun Onomay was born in Izmir – Turkey, in 1957. She graduated from the Department of Architecture at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts. She has worked for almost 35 years in private sector and she had signed for many successful projects as an architect. Her journey in the fine arts started with marbling and continued with the art of cutting paper. She combined two of the traditional arts with her great skills. She became one of the official artists of the Turkish Ministry of Culture. Today, she is continuing her works in both Miami and Istanbul as an ambassador of authentic, original and unique artworks.

”The courses I have taken and the experiences I have made during the years of studying and working as an architect like design, basic art, technical drawing and color technique training have an immense effect on how I think, act, feel and work differently from any other artist. These experiences make every single work of art authentic, original and unique.

The spectators and people who view my art are always dazzled and baffled by my marbling and cutting paper works. I am glad and so proud to be able to teach, participate and represent these branches of art throughout the world by attending various exhibitions and fairs as an ambassador.”
