A small part of tile exhibited in a glass cover at Konya Karatay Madrasah, Turkey. One of the special works put forth by the Seljuks with their sophistication between 10th and 13th centuries, has been completed to form a whole, put onto the pre-prepared special-sand turquoise and black marbling base using Akkase technique; Rumi figure and patterns in gilt cut with the paper cutting technique are also added on the work.
